We continue to listen to the Bread of Life discourse. In the Old Testament, God provided Elijah with cake and a jug of water for his journey in the desert. In today’s Gospel, Christ refers to Himself as the Bread of Life. Jesus knows how difficult it is to believe. He reminds us that FAITH is a gift. It is ours to accept or reject.
