Dallas Roe Memorial Events
ROE Memorial Events, Saturday January 16th: Marking the 43rd anniversary of the tragic January 22, 1973, Roe v. Wade U.S. Supreme Court decision, which legalized abortion in America and has led to the death of more than 56 million unborn American children.
Due to the ever-increasing numbers attending this event, all of this year’s events will again be held at the Kay Bailey Hutchison (KBH) Convention Center, 650 South Griffin Street, Dallas 75202 with seating for 9,000. Ride DART Light Rail to the Convention Center and avoid the hassle of parking.
Dallas March for Life and Rally
Stand4Life with Bishop Kevin Farrell and thousands of North Texas people of faith to speak LIFE to this present darkness. Come to some or all events…just be sure to come!
10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Roe Memorial Rosary outside the Southwestern late-term abortion center located at the NE corner of 8616 Greenville Avenue and Royal Lane, Dallas and at the Planned Parenthood mega abortion center, in South Dallas, 7989 West Virginia Drive, at Wheatland Road.
11:30 a.m. Concert for Life: Praise & Worship at the KBH Convention Center, 650 S Griffin St, Dallas. Featuring the music of Vince Lujan & Manuel Bravo of Jesus Team A, Tori Harris, The Crossroads Pursuit, and Tom Grossman of Communities of Prayer.
12:30 p.m. Procession of Roses is a beautiful memorial of 43 children, teens and adults in remembrance of the over a million children lost to abortion in the year of his or her birth from 1973 to the present.
1:00 p.m. Roe Memorial Mass: A bilingual Mass will be celebrated by Dallas Bishop Kevin Farrell, with concelebrants Bishops Michael Olsen and Douglas Deshotel and Father Abbot Peter Verhalen, O. Cist along with diocesan clergy. The homilist will be Father Edwin Leonard with the Santa Clara Academy Choir leading the music.
3:00 p.m. North Texas March for Life & Rally – the biggest in Texas! Following Mass, Bishops Farrell and Olsen will lead us as we march the half-mile from the Convention Center to the rally outside the Earle Cabell Federal Courthouse, housing the district court where the Roe v. Wade case was first filed in 1970. (Those who are unable to march are welcome to sit in private prayer in the arena or attend the pro-life Ministry Fair in Ballroom A where there will be seating.) Rally speakers include Bishop Kevin Farrell, Dr. Tony Evans, Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship, Mariana Schroeder, Respeto a la Vida de Fort Worth (en español), and former abortion facility worker Jewels Green.
11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Pro-Life Ministry Fair in Ballroom A at the Convention Center.
