Feast of All Souls and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament: Nov 2, 2012
Friday, November 2nd is “The Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed” (All Souls Day) and also the First Friday of the month of November.
Although it is not a Holy Day of Obligation, we encourage you to take time out from your busy schedule to attend Mass and pray for your beloved dead friends and family to honor the Sacred Heart.
The Holy Hour, with exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, begins at 12:45 PM, after the mid-day Mass, and concludes at 1:15 PM with Benediction.
We also invite you to put the names of your dear departed in the special envelopes and deposit them in the collection basket or hand them in at the gift shop. No list is too big. Their names will be places on the altar and remembered in our prayers during all of the Masses celebrated during the month of November.
