This time of year brings about changes of every kind. The days of summer leisure have given way to renewed family and work commitments. This time of change is echoed today as we once again meet Christ, present in the living word and in the Eucharist. He is the one who had to suffer, die, and rise after three days. Let us pray that we will be open to becoming like Christ, even in His suffering, for lasting triumph awaits those who put their trust in Him.
